Soon to be five and loves to help dad work on his guintars (sic). Maybe in a few years she'll be the subject of a NTB thread... ![]() ![]() |

Man, those times are so special. Here's me and my little man on the porch/shop. He's just over a year here and quite a neck shaper! ![]() |

Ronn you and your helper build fine Guintars. I can just hear her saying that. Tell us about the good looking classical, did you do a Spanish foot? Thanks for Sharing. Geoff, looks like a wonderful time on the porch with your little guy. Okay, you should start a thread with some pics of that Mandolin. Are you a picker? |

Yes Bruce, a spanish foot. This is the classical that has been hanging out in my shop for much too long. I built it to play with the Bouchet bracing pattern. Since it's just a test of sorts it always takes a back seat to other projects. I'll do another photo post when I complete it. Hopefully a week or two... depending on my helpers schedule. Beautiful picture there Geoff. Suitable for framing. |

Ronn, adorable daughter. She'll make a fine guintar maker, I'm sure. My daughter only recently outgrew calling them dikkars. ![]() |

It's an oversize neck block that goes up the back of the guitar. Apparently it looks like a foot to some folk. I have a classical over there in for repair, it does not have a real classical neck with the Spanish Foot. Just one way you know it's realllllly a classical. |
